CARGO insurance ensures protection of the transported cargo from the moment it leaves the place of dispatch to the moment it is delivered at the destination, this includes loading, unloading and storage. Basic insurance automobile connected with the liability insurance owned by the Shipper or Carrier protects cargo only against damages caused by Shipper or Carrier's fault. This form of insurance does not provide sufficient protection because it does not include all risks connected with: random incidents, natural properties of goods, theft and assault, joint breakdown, etc.
